There are many benefits of choosing a tankless water heater over a traditional tank heater. Rinnai tankless water heaters provide an endless supply of hot water (24/7) that is practically instantaneous and keeps your energy bills down. Plus, you don’t need a large space to accommodate it. A smaller footprint dedicated to the hot water heater allows you to place your tankless water heater where you want it (indoors or outdoors, according to which model you choose). Finally, a tankless water heater can last twice as long as a traditional tank heater, offering better value in the long-run.
Installing a tankless water heater may be more expensive than installing a traditional water heater tank because certain homes may require changes to some of the HVAC ducts or installing certain necessary plumbing pipes. The cost varies based on a number of factors, including where you live and how your home is constructed.
They do not. Instead, Rinnai tankless gas water heaters have a direct-spark electronic ignition.
A tankless water heater is the best, most efficient choice for heating hot water (as compared to a traditional water heater tank). While the up-front cost is a little more than with a tank heater, a Rinnai tankless water heater will save you money on energy costs, offers endless and almost instant hot water and may last up to 20 years—that’s twice as long as the life expectancy of a tank unit. If you have a small space, a tankless water heater is much smaller—only about the size of a rolling suitcase—and can be installed indoors or outdoors.
It’s important to note that tankless water heaters require a gas line source (natural gas or propane), and electric starters are used.
